Gallery on Park will be hosting a pinch pot workshop on Sunday, June 23rd from 1-4pm.

Through the expert guidance of Barbara Hanselman, you will create a wonderful work of art from a simple ball of clay! Many techniques will be taught, including carving, decorating, how to under glaze and more!

Workshop fee is $65 which includes all materials as well as Barbara firing your piece so that it is ready for you to pick up at a later date. Workshop is limited to 10 participants.

P I N C H P O T S are the painstaking result of pinching a single ball of clay into a handform. They can be burnished smooth and textured or carved from the start...or glazed & hand decorated before being fired again in an electric kiln. Pinchpots can also become your personal "canvas" and be painted with acrylics. They are meant to be totally experienced from the making to the finishing so we will do all we can in our workshop to accomplish this.
